I firmly believe that meal planning is saving me *SO* much money on groceries. I am managing to not buy a lot of useless groceries that will go to waste. I am able to stock up my pantry using coupons and sales and plan meals based on my stockpile! I highly recommend that you give it a try for at least a month and see how you do. Monday: pork chops, scalloped potatoes, green beans, crescent rolls
Tuesday: steak, baked potato, salad
Wednesday: pulled pork sandwiches, oven baked fries, fruit
Thursday: spaghetti with homemade sauce, garlic bread
Friday: chicken salad sandwich, chips, fruit
Saturday: pizza calzones

Welcome, and thanks for sharing! I'm totally with you on using stuff from the pantry and not buying unnecessary things. We must be separated at birth :)
